You deserve someone who fixes what is actually wrong.
We understand that when the house is hot, everything else gets put on hold. You need someone who knows what they are doing, finds the real problem, and gets your house cool again quick.
You're likely wanting a company who will:
- Actually diagnose instead of replacing parts until it works.
- Explain what is wrong in a way you can follow.
- Charge for what the job actually costs.
- Fix what can be fixed, and only bring up replacement when it genuinely makes sense.
This Is Where Comfy Comes In
When AC problems arise, we show up quickly, diagnose the real issue, and give you a clear recommendation you can trust.
- We repair first when a repair makes sense
- We recommend replacement only when it is actually justified
- We document what we find with photos and clear notes so you can approve and move forward without confusion
What an Honest AC Service Call Looks Like
-
Respect for Your Home
We arrive on time, protect the work area, and clean up before we leave.
-
Photo Documented Findings
You see photos of what we found, so the repair is based on evidence rather than a verbal diagnosis you cannot check.
-
Priced Before We Start
We price the repair in writing before any work begins, so the number you approve is the number you pay.
-
Repair First
We fix what can be fixed and only recommend replacement when the repair cost no longer makes sense against the system's remaining life.
-
No Pressure to Replace
Our technicians are not paid on commission, so nobody here earns more by talking you into a new system. If your system has years left we will tell you, and if it does not, we will show you why.
-
90-Day Service Call Warranty
Every repair carries a 90-day warranty on the original service call, so if the problem we fixed returns in that window, we come back and take care of it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is my AC running but not cooling?
Usually it is low refrigerant, a dirty or iced evaporator coil, a failing capacitor, or a blocked condensate system, and the fix depends on which one it is. We diagnose the actual cause on site, show you photos of what we found, and price the repair before we touch anything. Guessing leads to replaced parts that were never the problem, so we verify first.
Why is my AC leaking water?
Usually a blocked condensate drain. The system pulls moisture out of the air as it cools, and that water leaves through a drain line — when the line or the pan blocks, it backs up and overflows. A coil that froze and is now thawing does the same thing. We clear the actual cause rather than just drying it up, and show you photos of what we found.
Why is my AC frozen or covered in ice?
Usually low refrigerant or restricted airflow. Both make the evaporator coil run cold enough to freeze, and the ice then blocks airflow further, so the system cools less the longer it runs. Shutting it off to thaw is the first step, but the cause is either a leak or something restricting air. We measure the charge and find the leak rather than topping the system off, because the leak is the actual repair.
Why is a yearly AC tune-up worth it?
For most systems, it catches the small failures that become no-cool calls in the first heat wave. A tune-up checks refrigerant charge, airflow, electrical connections, and the condensate drain, and it keeps the system running at the efficiency it was designed for. It also documents condition over time, which makes the eventual repair-or-replace decision easier.
How much does an AC repair cost?
A service call is $150 per hour with a one-hour minimum, and any parts are billed separately. We diagnose the problem and tell you what the repair will cost before we start, so the number you approve is the number you pay. If the system cannot be repaired, or replacement makes more sense, the quote for a new system is free.
When does repairing an old AC stop making sense?
When the repair cost approaches a meaningful share of a replacement and the system is near the end of its service life, repair usually stops penciling. We put the repair cost against the equipment's remaining life in writing, with photos, so you can decide with the facts. A cheap fix on a sound system is worth it, a major fix on a worn-out one rarely is.
